our rare exotic timbers are government stamped from the countries of origin, and we take exceptional measures to ensure that we have no timber on our premises which has been obtained by illegal logging.

we recycle all our waste, and use it to feed a 1 million btu wood burner which heats our premises 24/7/365.

we drive smart cars to ensure that we run our company vehicles as economically on fuel as possible.

we use only recycled paper for our literature, brochures and office use etc

where possible we install our floors using methods which will allow the floors to be re used and/or reclaimed in the future.

the plank company traditional solid hardwood wide plank floors have a potential life of at least a century provided they are given reasonable care. solid wood floors centuries old are to be found throughout the uk. wood is the one structural building material which will outlast all others in a building including steel.
